A Privacy Driven Messenger?

Well, as you know, privacy isn’t something that can be gotten by just encryption. It's a mindset, a way of thinking, and a commitment to protecting your personal information and communications. Matter of fact, you can neither protect all info nor expect it to be fully reliable. You have to choose what to care about and what not to. One of the biggest steps toward it is to be mindful of what you share and how you share it (also to whom).

We are building a messenger that can work reliably without compromising user privacy. It is designed to be secure and private in a way that there's no way to store, analyse, or sell user data. We are going to use a peer-to-peer architecture, which means that messages are sent directly between users without passing through a central server. This ensures user data is not stored on any server and is not accessible to anyone else.

End-to-end encryption is used, so messages are encrypted on the sender's device and decrypted on the recipient's device, ensuring that only the intended recipients can read them. This applies not only to one-on-one chats but also to guild chats — groups where users can chat securely with end-to-end encryption and peer-to-peer architecture.

Users can have both a username and a number, and they can choose who can see which (username, number). We are also using a decentralized architecture, meaning there is no central point of control or failure. This ensures the messenger is always available and resilient against attacks and censorship.

In conclusion, our messenger is designed to be secure and private, with a focus on protecting user data and communications. It is a promising solution for those who value privacy and want to communicate securely without worrying about their data being stored or accessed by anyone else.
